When Will The Rapture Happen?

When Will The Rapture of The Church Happen?  Collin Leong. August 15, 2025 A. Summary This is a shortened update from my previous blog about the rapture. I have removed other sections and did this new summary so that it is easier for you to read. Section B are details explanation with the verses and calculations, but it is optional to read as it is long.  The reason I wrote this is not for you to believe what I heard from social media or bible scholars. I may be doubtful myself. The reason is to encourage us to know the urgency of Jesus second coming, and to tell our family and friends about him.  This is something that the bible asked us to do. Paul said  “You are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief… let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.”   (1 Thess 5:1-6) .  Jesus Himself gave us the actual signs of his coming in  Matthew 24:3-8 , and warn us to be ready with the Parable of Ten Virgins...

Rapture Update

Rapture Update Collin Leong.  August 9th 2025 1. Background This is an update to the topic of rapture, which I had written partially in my other blogs:  " Christ's Second Coming - Millennial Day Theory ", and " End Times Game Plan ".   Those are mixed with other subjects, but this blog will focus on "when" the rapture will happen.   I'm writing this down for one reason -  to convince Christians to put more effort in spreading the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven - the Gospel - so that we can help to save as many people as possible before tribulation. We should not be shy to tell them that believers will be raptured to heaven before the tribulation as God doesn't want His children to suffer the disasters, wars and persecution. Even if they don't believe us, when the rapture happens, they are more likely to believe what we said. They can become believers during the tribulation . The tribulation is not just a punishment of unbelievers, but ...

Prophecies of The End Times

Excluding Revelation, several other books in the Bible contain significant end-times (eschatological) prophecies. Here's a list ordered roughly by the density and clarity of such prophecies: 1. Daniel Often called the “Old Testament Revelation,” Daniel is foundational for apocalyptic imagery: Four kingdoms and the eternal kingdom (Daniel 2, 7) The “Seventy Weeks” prophecy (Daniel 9:24–27) The rise of the Antichrist-like figure (Daniel 11) 2. The Red Heifer

The Red Heifer Collin Leong. Oct 25 2023  I read a few years ago that they have prepared all the furniture and utensil for the temple. But they were still looking for the red heifer as they almost went extinct. The red heifers were sacrificed as a cleansing ritual for individual who became unclean, perhaps by touching dead bodies. (Numbers 19). This allows them to participate in the worship. If they have found the red heifer, then nothing can hold them back from building the temple.  Except that the temple site is overlapping the Dome of the Rock, the second most holy place for Islam. In 1967, when they won East Jerusalem in the 6-day war, they signed an agreement that while Jews can go up to the mount, but they cannot worship there, in order to preserve peace with the Arab Muslims.  In future, there will be a peace treaty arranged by the anti-christ (a human) between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab nations. This signals the start of the 7 year tribulation. I believe...

Christ's Second Coming - Millennial Day Theory

Image
Christ's Second Coming - Millennial Day Theory Collin Leong. May 6, 2024 I. Introduction There is a theory called Millennial Day Theory, or the Millennium sabbath hypothesis, or the Sabbath millennium theory, is a theory in Christian eschatology which predicts that the Second Coming of Christ will occur 6,000 years after the creation of mankind, followed by 1,000 years of peace and harmony. Before we go deeper into the theory, we must know that Jesus had told us that no man knows the precise “day or the hour,” except God the Father. (Matthew 24:36)  I believe Jesus didn't know as He did not exercise His Godly abilities at that time, for He was born as a man. But now, He knows.   While we don't know the precise day and hour, we are encourage to recognize the signs of the end times, so we can be prepared for it. Paul said:   “But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of...

End Times Game Plan

End Times Game Plan Covid-19 Series Collin Leong.  11 April 2020 I. Preface This blog is a continuation of the series written during Covid-19 pandemic. We covered the topics "Where is God" and "Overcoming Fear."   In the first article, I discussed potential reasons why disasters and pestilences occur on earth, based on the patterns found in the Bible. The aim was to provide solid biblical options, rather than merely agreeing to whatever comes through our social media during the crisis. The second article was to get scriptural principles on how to re-channel fear, anxiety and distractions towards listening to what God wants us to do in a crisis like this. The key theme was from 2 Tim 1:7 where it speaks about the antidote to fear, that is:  power, love, and sound mind. Having dealt with the concerns of current circumstances, I felt there is another perspective that is important to anchor us more firmly in this crisis and to prepare us for greater ones in the future. ...
